Nemesis
Project Nemesis is an autonomous drone initiative focused on low-emission, high-autonomy operations in contested or sensitive environments. Designed for long-duration patrol missions, the drone operates with minimal communication, intentionally avoiding constant data transmission to reduce its electromagnetic signature and enhance stealth. Instead, it remains largely silent—transmitting only under predefined conditions such as target detection, critical system status, or when initiating a return-to-base (RTB) due to low power or damage.
The name Nemesis draws inspiration from both myth and science. In Greek mythology, Nemesis was the goddess of retribution—an unseen force of balance and consequence. In astronomy, Nemesis was a hypothesized, undetected companion star to the Sun, believed to periodically disturb the outer solar system and trigger catastrophic events on Earth. Though never found, the idea embodied a powerful and silent influence operating beyond the realm of detection. Likewise, Project Nemesis embodies the concept of a concealed presence: a persistent, intelligent system that moves undetected through the battlespace, capable of delivering strategic effects without ever revealing its hand. It represents a new class of unmanned systems—stealthy, autonomous, and designed to endure in environments where overt signals would spell certain compromise.
